Welcome to my Weebly page! Below is an avatar I made in Voki. I was able to customize my character and give it a voice by recording my voice on Audacity and editing it.
Bitstrips Comic
I also made a comic on Bitstrips. You can create characters and use them to make your own comics. You can also interact with friends and even have their characters star in your comics!
For The Record
This is a cool project we did in my computer class called For The Record. We had to make a table of our favorite songs, and include the artist, genre, and record label. We also had to answer some questions about our favorite artists, music categories, and instruments. I found out a lot about my favorite singers and the most popular record labels in America.
Dream Car Project
This is another project we did. We had to choose two cars, our dream car and a car we could afford when we we're sixteen (it had to be under $10,000.00). Then we had to figure out how long it would take us to pay for the second car. I learned how to figure out the price of a car, as well as gas/maintenance prices, insurance, and interest rate.
Poem
A Bird came down the Walk
(328)
by
Emily Dickinson
A Bird came down the Walk--
He did not know I saw--
He bit an Angleworm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw,
And then he drank a Dew
From a convenient Grass--
And then hopped sidewise to the Wall
To let a Beetle pass--
He glanced with rapid eyes
That hurried all around--
They looked like frightened Beads, I thought--
He stirred his Velvet Head
Like one in danger, Cautious,
I offered him a Crumb
And he unrolled his feathers
And rowed him softer home—
Than Oars divide the Ocean,
Too silver for a seam--
Or Butterflies, off Banks of Noon
Leap, plashless as they swim.

For this project, we had to choose a poem and a picture and make a citation for it. I chose this poem because it's springtime and I see lots of birds this time of year, especially robins. While reading this poem I could picture the scene with a little robin coming down the walk. I also like other poems by Emily Dickinson.
Copyright Poster
This project was all about copyright. We learned about the rules of copyright, public domain, and the consequences of copyright infringement. Then we made a poster for it.

This is a Power Point we made called the Digital Bill of Rights. It tells you all of the rights that you have while online, including privacy, association, and freedom to post what you want.
Online Safety Poster
Here is another Glogster poster with online safety tips. It also includes a soundtrack I made in Soundation and edited in Audacity.
Stock Tracker
We have been working on this project all trimester. We had to choose two stocks and follow them. Then, at the end, we had to make a chart and see whether we had made or lost money since purchasing it.
